This past weekend we rang in the Halloween season with a Delicious treat & great friends...We pulled out all the stops. We stocked up on candy (twix, reese's, snickers, m&m's, & crushed oreo) and plenty of caramel. We also threw in air mattresses, blankets and a movie. It was a wonderful night after a long rainy study day.

The best things in life last forever!

I am of course talking about my Gorgeous wife Michelle. I have never done a blog entry so this might get a little crazy =).

Yes, I am 25 years of age and I still can't stop myself from being a kid. I am surprised Michelle does not have to tell me not to touch things in the store (except I have never broken anything in a store unlike someone I know. Ha ha ha), knock on wood.

School has been CRAZY with all of the assignments, tests, research, and much more. However, we always try and find time to enjoy life and the time we have together.
We recently gave ourselves a pizza party one night when we felt really overwhelmed with school. I can only remember one time besides that night that we ordered pizza here in Hawaii out of the 2 years we lived here.

About a week ago we were able to go to "BODIES. The Exhibiton." with some classmates. BODIES was fascinating to say the least. The human body is such an amazing creation. Because BODIES was next to the mall, after the exhibition we meet up with some really good friends of ours and it looks like they started playing dress up in Forever 21 when Josh and I left the store.
We also had to get our fix of Panda Express when we were there (I really like that place).

Halloween is coming and Michelle has the bug that bit her Father =)....... She started decorating the house and I think has not stopped adding things. The house looks really nice, so now it's our turn soon to dress up ourselves.... I really want to be a ......... well I guess I should keep it a surprise but, it's not a woopie cushion.

Man Tag

Oh freak- I've been tagged.
Here we go....
A. The rules are posted at the beginning.

How long have you been married? It will be 2 years November 22.

Who mows the lawn? BYUH lawn people, but if we had one Jason probably would.
Who cooks dinner? Mostly me, but Jason often helps, or every once in a while he'll make it.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? um...me
Who kissed who first? Guilty, it was me. {I had to do something, I was moving back to Hawaii the next morning =] }

Beauty in Everything.

Because I was so nervous for an exam I took last night, dinner was very simple. College-like even....a carrot. After I took a bite, I looked down and noticed how beautiful the inside was. Like a little sunburst. It brought a smile to my face. And gave me a little more energy than what I had had.

See, there is beauty in the simplest of things if we just take a minute to notice it.

Fun Facts.

Sometimes it takes science quite a while to learn what nature knew from the beginning...

A sliced carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye. Science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows that tomatoes are excellent food choices for your heart and blood.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.

Celery, bok choy, and rhubarb look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, avocado and pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well as help overcome male sterility.

Sweet potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.

Grapefruits, oranges, and most citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.

Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

Tara!

Happy 22nd Birthday Tara!

Her husband Nick tried to surprise her with a little BBQ and cake and ice cream-that didn't last very long, she she thought he was neglecting her & he couldn't live her her being upset. But he did surprise her with cupcakes hand made by Trevor and Lauren.
We hope you had a great birthday Tara and hope you have a great year with lots of happy times!
