It doesn't matter what we do, a bath right before bed, combing it out before bed or nap, this kid has the CRAZIEST bed head when he wakes up.

Happy Turkey Day!

Thanksgiving this year was the 'off' year for the Ellsworths so we got to enjoy it with the Bullocks. It was quiter this year then in years past with only the Holmans, Mom and Dad and our family.
But oh, it was Delicious!
The weather was a bit un-predicatable, with some cool afternoon showers while we feasted, then sun which allowed us to enjoy some time playing outside in the wagon and walks around the circle and playing 'blongo ball' in the backyard. Then when the sun went down, it turned pretty cold which worked out because we were due for a skype date with the whole Bullock clan; the Olaves in Virginia and the Trevor and Lauren Bullocks in Hawaii and in the Josh and Jourdan Bullocks and Kendal in Utah. We enjoyed talking & laughing with one another and receiving some rather shocking but welcoming news...the newest Bullock family, Josh and Jourdan, shared with us that they are pregnant! Congratulations you two!!

Whats Thanksgiving without Papas Turkey?!

I'm grateful that I have some family that lives here in AZ., lucky Jason has nearly all of his family that lives here. With Deacon and Victor only a month apart we got to celebrate with him when he turned two.
Nat and Justin had family over for a BBQ and cake and ice cream. Deacon was stoked to be able to sing "Happy Birthday" and eat "I keams".

Welcome to your twos Victor! We love you!

For Veterans Day this year we decided to go to downtown Mesa for the Veterans Day Parade.
We brought along Deacons little buddy, Preston, with us, and it was a hit with the little guys. And pretty enjoyable for Jason and I too.

Watching the B-52 flying overhead starting off the parade.

Watching the tank.

With the weather as good as its been, we've been enjoying our time outside.
Deacon loves to ride bikes.

Jason and I have yet to get some, we're hoping Santa will bring some for Christmas this year.

But until then, this is how we ride.
Deacon still has yet to figure out that those pedals are for your feet. So he likes to 'walk/ride' with his feet. We'll give him a little bit longer because for now he refuses.
And we're okay with that because he's so cute.

Everyday Deacon asks, "A Park?"
He loves going and would spend all day playing on the slides and swinging on the swings.

There was one time I pushed him for about 40 minutes.
My arms were killing me and I had to call it quits.

Deacon loves when Jason acts like he's beating Jason up.
He was laughing so hard.

A few months ago he couldn't climb up this ladder, he's growing up so quick!

Every time we go to the park he attempts to climb up the pole.
And every time he doesn't get more than a couple of inches off the ground when he jumps.
He's a very determined little guy.
And oh so cute while he tries.

Deacon loves to fed the duck over in Grandma and Grandpas neighborhood.
But Oh, Boy, they are getting crazy.
A little TOO familiar with people.
They are starting to freak me out.
But we still have fun.

I dont know whats going on here. Ha. Ha.

Happy Halloween!

Thankfully Jason was able to switch with someone at work so he could have the night off to spend with us. We were grateful for that.
We decided to go to our wards Halloween party & "Trunk or Treat". Deacon was like a magnet for the younger kids, they all loved his balloons. He had several following him, hoping he'd give them up for them.

Deacons first time 'trunk or treating'. He was so cute. We'd tell him what to say, but he grew shy and would whisper it every time.

We met up with the Bakers and had to take our 2nd annual Halloween picture with the boys in the parking lot.

The Bakers.

After the ward party we headed over to the Bullocks for a late dinner and to spend time with Mimi, Papa and the Holmans.

Getting a decent picture with these two was nearly impossible!

We had a great Halloween and are already looking forward to next year.
