Warming up....

As the temperature begins to rise here in Arizona we have tried to take advantage of the last "nice" days outside before things get too hot.

While I was working Michelle was getting creative. She has made some onsies for Deacon like the one above. They have turned out really cool! She obtained the idea from a friend of ours blog (Thanks Cheryl).

We recently were able to enjoy the outdoors doing a hike in the Superstition Mountains just a half hour from the house. My mom watched Deacon while we hiked close to Weavers Needle.

"Weaver's Needle has played a significant role in the stories of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine. The Needle's shadow reportedly indicates the location of a rich vein of gold, and many treasure hunters have searched for it. The hunt for gold around Weaver's Needle has been pursued by hundreds (possibly thousands) of people and the area is packed with prospect holes and abandoned camp sites, spent cartridge shells, and possibly missing persons." (most trusted source on-line......wikipedia.)

While we did not find any Gold or "missing persons " we had a great time getting out seeing nature at its best.

AND is was reading your "date night" post. It really made me miss Bishop Hannaman. Not to place judgement on all the Bishops out there but he seriously was the best! actually his whole family was the best.
